Doctors
Robin K. Moore, DVM
Dr. Robin Moore is the owner of East Bay Animal Hospital. She joined our team in 1996 after graduating from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She purchased the hospital from its original owner, Dr. Marshall in January 2008. Dr. Moore resides in Largo with a menagerie of personal pets. She considers the “gray-faced” ones to be extra special.
Her home invariably includes at least one “senior citizen” that has found itself homeless during it's golden years. As a result, Dr. Moore has developed a passion for ensuring that the quality and quantity of life is utmost for her geriatric patients. Compassionate, individualized care is what Dr. Moore strives to permeate throughout every patient and owner East Bay Animal Hospital experience.
Dr. Kevin Kelley
Dr. Kevin Kelley grew up in Panama City, Fl. He attended University of Florida for his undergraduate degree in Zoology, followed by receiving his doctorate from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. His background ranges from marine mammal trainer/handler, to zoo veterinarian at Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo, California, to full time emergency medicine veterinarian here in Pinellas County.
With his diverse background and personal interest and love of exotics and emergency medicine he has been a welcome addition to the East Bay Animal Hospital staff. He has served our clients on a relief basis for the last year, and full time since January of 2009. His family includes a Swedish Elkhound named Kodiak, who is a retired service dog, his lovely wife Shar, and their 2 year old son Riley.
Alfred P. Marshall, DVM
Dr. Marshall opened the doors of East Bay Animal Hospital on January 1, 1967. The early days of practice included providing veterinary care for several of the dairy and horse farms then located in the Largo area. As time progressed and the area became more urbanized, the practice was restricted to providing the services needed for companion pets; dogs, cats, and small exotics.
Dr. Marshall’s compassion for pets and their people has helped him form strong bonds with the community and our clientele. Some of his earliest clients continue to entrust the care of their pets to East Bay Animal Hospital.
He has taken great joy in the relationships formed with these clients…then their children…now their grandchildren, as well as the generations of family pets he has cared for. In 2008 Dr. Marshall retired to North Carolina! He still visits Florida and is a familiar face at East Bay as our official relief veterinarian. Dr. Marshall and his wife Laurie share their home with two Belgian Terverans, one Schnauzer and two horses.
